Here at Floral Dance we were delighted to be asked to attend and showcase our wedding flowers and ideas at the Tepee Wedding Fair at Ghyll Royd School.
What a scorcher of a day! We arrived at 8am, the early bird catches the worm and all that to an impressive Tepee ready for the exhibits or not quite, as I my first sight was two men fast asleep! Four hours later and 2 journeys to and from the Floral Dance shop we were ready to go.
Copper and turquoise were main colours in the theme with a very rustic twist. Floral Dance, as you might know is a fan of copper, with the copper sign above the door and a fabulous copper collection ideal for use in wedding flower displays. It is such a natural, warm colour and if you team it with turquoise they make the perfect pairing.
At the wedding fair we used whites and peaches together with strong dark pinks to contrast with the light blue colour scheme. Seasonal flowers such as Peonies, lilac and Ranunculus were used and unusual but interesting peppercorns.
